Education

B.S. in Environmental Sciences concentrating in Energy and Sustainability and a minor in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS) from UNC Chapel Hill, class of 2014. Currently pursuing a graduate certificate in GIS from NC State.

Experience

I am a very patient, open-minded, and honest person. I love learning new things and sharing what I have learned. I am great with kids and scatter-brained adults. I know many great strategies for learning new and difficult subjects, overcoming procrastination, and eliminating test anxiety. I am happy to learn new material with you, even if I do not list the subject in which you are interested. Many of my closest friends have ADD/ADHD, so I am both sympathetic to and unintimidated by those with disordered attentiveness.

Hobbies

Studying the Earth is my passion and my ultimate dream would be to observe our lovely home from aboard the International Space Station. My other interests include music, poetry, science fiction, sustainability, and travelling the world. I have lived outside of the US for 16 months out of the last four years, and I have learned more than can be stated from my experiences abroad.
