I tutor Spanish I-IV; it is my absolute favorite academic subject. I have been passionate about languages since I was young. I would be in airports with my parents and ask them about every language I heard spoken while we were there. I also became passionate about literature; I would make my own writing systems that I shared with my friends. Naturally, I went on to college to major in Literature and Spanish Language. I earned my bachelor's degree. While I was in college I extensively studied Spanish culture and language. I even studied the assessment and teaching methods in the Spanish language. My academic and life experiences have only enriched my capabilities as a tutor. My tutoring style includes working alongside my students to learn what areas they need help with the most. Then we design a learning plan that addresses those weak areas. Additionally, I want my students to understand that I am not here to override or replace their teachers. I am here to serve as a supplemental resource. When I am not working, you can find me playing the bass guitar, watching movies, and listening to Spanish music. I am looking forward to sharing my passion for Spanish with you or your student.
