I previously worked at the University of Florida, teaching students the French language, as well as its culture. As a tutor, my goal is to provide a learning environment that is motivational, stimulating, and comfortable. I value the unique way in which each student learns and adjust my teaching methods to suit their needs. I choose learning activities and teaching styles based on the student's individual personality, interests, strengths, and weaknesses. I incorporate lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities to encourage optimal absorption of the material. Regardless of the approach or activity, I work patiently with the student, matching their natural learning rate to enable them to better understand the concepts we are studying. I use a flexible teaching style that encompasses a variety of approaches to learning with the sole aim of helping my students achieve their goals. Through a collaborative effort, the student and I work together to improve their learning skills and better their grasp of the French language. While tutoring, I implement discussions of current events around the world to encourage my student to think beyond the classroom. In my free time, I love to travel, broadening my horizons around the world while meeting new people.
