I love to learn, and I love to share what I know to help others learn as well. Education has given me a lot of opportunities to meet new people from all sorts of diverse backgrounds. I've found that I learned more teaching than I ever have as a student. I spent a decade studying French, including studying abroad. I've also studied a lot of German, and I'm fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Norwegian, Italian, and Spanish. I'm also certified as a TESOL instructor, allowing me to teach English to non-native speakers. I also have a strong background in linguistics. I'm currently working on an MBA, which I want to use along with my knowledge of languages and cultures to participate in the global marketplace. I'm looking forward to helping students develop language learning skills in any way that I can. I can tutor French, German, Spanish, English, Italian, writing, public speaking, grammar, essays, literature, ESL, and other topics such as economics, algebra, history, test preparation, and more. In my spare time, I enjoy drinking coffee, playing my guitar, studying languages, keeping of a politics, learning other topics for my own interests, and traveling.
