Hi! My name is Catherine Anne and I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2018, with a 3.3 GPA. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, with a concentration in Finance. I am currently working as a financial analyst at Red Hat. I have experience in all basic business courses, and extensive experience in finance courses with two years of real-world finance/accounting work.
Experience
My tutoring experience is limited, which is why I will not be charging much. I have done volunteer tutoring for at-risk elementary age children, but that is as far as my experience goes. I believe I have the knowledge and personality to be a great tutor, and have always had great study skills and organization. My relevant coursework in college includes, but is not limited to: Financial Management, Investment Portfolio Management, Advanced Personal Financial Management, Financial Management of Corporations, Financial Analytics, Managerial and Financial Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management, Information Systems, Communications, Communications for Business and Management, Business Statistics, Business Policy and Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Non-Profit Grand Development, Spanish I and II. I would prefer to start off tutoring the elementary and middle school levels before approaching the higher-level courses. I am, however, open to preparing and trying to work with higher level courses if requested. My strong-suit would be math for younger ages, but I can definitely work with them in reading and writing as well.

My time outside of my financial work usually includes walks and runs with my dog, socializing with my friends and family, gardening, and soon beginning classwork for receiving my MBA. I have a very easy going personality, and can get along with anyone! I also have lots of babysitting experience and have spent a great amount of time with children anywhere from 6 months old to 15 years old.
