I completed my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UT-Knoxville in 2009. I graduated with Honors, and my undergraduate thesis included research on airfoil design for use in wind turbines. I continued my education at UNC-Chapel Hill. I just finished my M.S. this May in Marine Science. I studied Boundary Layer Meteorology, which is the study of airflow at low levels of the atmosphere. I used this study to improve wind energy resource estimations in our state!
Experience
-Formal tutor in math of all levels up to Calculus at Mathnasium Learning Center -Private tutor for high school students, middle school students, and college students at UNC Chapel Hill. -National AP Scholar, and National Merit Scholar (top 1% in SAT score in the nation) I love tutoring students in math because it's one of the scariest subjects for most students. I want to help them learn that it doesn't have to be hard.
