I volunteered as an English and Spanish tutor throughout high school and college. I love to read and writing, and I particularly love editing. I played piano for nine years and clarinet for 12 years. I scored a 5 on my English and Spanish AP exams and a 33 on the ACT (35 in English). I was a National Merit Finalist, scoring in the top 0.5% in the nation on the PSAT. I graduated with the Superintendent's Award, given to the ten students with the highest GPAs. I scored 156 in the math section and 161 in the verbal section on the GRE. I earned my EMT-Basic certification in 2012, and I graduated from UNC with bachelor's degrees in biology and hispanic linguistics in 2013. I am currently applying to graduate school to become a physician's assistant.
