Hello! I am Gracie! I recently graduated (December, 2014) from North Carolina State University in Raleigh N.C. I received my BA in History, graduating with a 3.3 Major GPA. I am now pursuing graduate school (also at N.C State) where I plan to study to receive my Masters in Special Education. I have also been what my parents would described as an "undercover history nut", which has turned out to be a blessing! History is unique in that it is simply a compilation of unique stories from the past that continuously dictate our present and futures! If told correct, these stories are thrilling, adventurous, and exciting! Every student should be given the opportunity to enjoy learning History, and not see it as an un pleasant subject matter. I also enjoy writing (which really helps when you're a history major)! It was in 10th grade, taking the NC Sophomore mandated writing test that I realized my potential. I am one of the few students in NC to ever receive a perfect score. Writing can be a very unpleasant experience for many, but like history, it takes the right person to make it fun and unique! I hope to be that person for you or your child! I am easy going, lighthearted, fun, and silly, but also very dedicated to helping and teaching others!
