Experience
My tutoring experience comes from tutoring my daughter. I consider tutoring as extra time spent on any subject. Her tutoring has not been solely on subjects she has trouble with, but to strengthen her in any and all of the subjects she encounters. Tutoring to me is extra time spent on any subject to promote a concrete foundation and understanding of that subject. My daughter is in the 3rd grade. She is an excellent student. She would not be so without constant tutoring, extra time put in with someone who knows the subject backwards and forwards. Without tutoring, not many kids would be as successful. I want to tutor because I know many children, dare I say all children can benefit in a positive way from tutoring. Too many do not have access to this. I want to give more kids that opportunity to succeed.

Hobbies
I have various hobbies. Let's start with Art. I am a twice published illustrator of children's books. I do graphic design as well and am responsible for a few book covers. I love art/drawing as it was my first love. Next there's sports. I played all three sports as a youth, Basketball, Baseball and Football. I still play basketball. Although I watch it on tv a lot more. I have many hobbies ,but I'll end with music. I have been involved with music just about as long as art. I was a drummer in church by age 8. I played trumpet and Baritone( smaller tuba) throughout middle and High school(2 time All-State Band member). My taste in music can be described as eclectic. Examples of eclectic musical tastes are, Shirley Bassey(Diamonds are Forever) Jay-Z(Encore) and Rush(Tom Sawyer). I LOVE music.
