Experience
As a Professor of Art and professional artist, I have been a member of faculty since 1993 and have served as a Dean of the Department of Sculpture at Hue University. Additionally, I organized for Art Conferences, Workshops, and Contemporary Art Exhibitions for the National and International Artists. I have participated more than 10 international stone and artist workshops around the world, published many scale stone sculptures of public art, as well as a specialist of computer graphic arts. My backgrounds and career goals match the tutor’s requirements: my 17 years of teaching experience at Hue University and 4 years at Texas A &M University-Commerce. I have extensive expertise and experience teaching methods, offering a variety of opportunities in the areas of Figure Sculpture, Drawing, and Composition of Foundation classes I, II, III, Mold Making, Casting, Metal Welding, Conceptual Art, Contemporary Issue in Art, History of Asian Ancient Art, and Advanced Stone &Wood Carving. Each provides an educational context within a powerful critical dialogue in an environment conducive to growth. I can assist students in Studio Art with a focus on 2-D, 3-D media with application techniques, hand building such as metal working areas, stone and wood carving space. My experience is teaching strategies that promote student success through my knowledge of contemporary issues and critical discourse. I am strongly motivated to explore the horizons of my potential teaching and to help anybody to improve their visual skills through my guidance.
