Every one of the students that I have tutored have been on grade level by the end of the year if they did the following: - Completed the almost too easy homework - 15 - 30 minutes daily; - Came on time to every session - they are an hour and I usually see kids for about 3mths or more; - Trust that I can teach them to have fluency, comprehension and great reading skills. While I cannot guarantee 100% difference, I stand on my results as how effective I am. In fact, the only reason I am going "public" is due to my students, who are now in mid school and high school, are urging me to do it. the first session is free just so we can make sure that everyone is comfortable. I am positive that if reading is an issue, I can help. I stake my reputation on it.

My oldest son is dyslexic and was discouraged because he had to miss recess so many times. His reading was the culprit and it affected everything. Although I was a teacher, I did not know what to do. I learned all I could about reading and became Wilson Method certified. Wilson Method is based off of Orton Gillingham and the proof that the systems work is in the research. My son will be attending his dream college this Fall because he unlocked the "code." I understand your pain and fear. I have been there. Serving other families like mine, that is my focus and passion.
