I recently graduated college in 2013 from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a double degree in English and International Studies. During college I studied abroad in Guatemala where I interned at a local after-school program for high-school students, helping with homework and activities. After I graduated I spent one year teaching 7th grade Language Arts and Social Studies in the Dominican Republic, as well as tutoring 5th and 6th grade. I am now a writer and Social Media Director for Raleigh Music Industry Association, an online music publication for the Raleigh area.
