I recently graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Secondary Business Education Bachelor of Science. At present I teach marketing in high school. I enjoy helping my students to achieve their academic goals. I have taught middle school, high school, and college level students in math and business, both online and in person. I haven't tutored elementary school students, but I did teach third to fifth graders in an extracurricular setting. Math is my favorite subject. I believe one can apply Math to every area of life and every occupation. Students who excel in Math will find a vast array of options open to them. I believe all students can learn, but some learn differently. When teaching, I ask my students to bring their work from class, so I can see what their teacher has given them. Then I ask the student what part of the classwork they don't understand. Sometimes you just have to explain things in a different, simpler way and sometimes the student knows the components and just needs to be guided to the proper conclusions.I reside in Raleigh, North Carolina, and in my free time, I enjoy running, exercising, education, and arts and crafts.
