I attended Appalachian State University and the University of North Carolina at Asheville. I am currently living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I have extensive experience tutoring Spanish and French in different settings, including tutoring fellow students at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and being the lead tutor in the French lab. I was also a Spanish tutor for homeschooled children. Additionally, I have experience working with children as a camp counselor and staff member. As a graduate student, I also served as a lab instructor for undergraduate-level classes. I feel that my previous tutoring and teaching experience make me a competent tutor. I also enjoy the teaching field and have the patience and personality to work with students. I can work with students on a diverse range of subjects, including all levels of French and Spanish, ESL/ELL, grammar and mechanics, writing, literature, and American history. I can help students who are preparing their college essays, and in test preparation for standardized exams such as the ACT, SAT, and GRE. In the past, I have lived in a variety of locations across the world and United States. As a college student, I resided with a host family in Uruguay. In my spare time, I like to meet new people and surf.
