I'm a PhD student at North Carolina State University in the field of Civil (Construction) Engineering. I always wanted to teach and being a Teaching Assistant (TA) at North Carolina State University has been a very rewarding and educational experience. I have studied math and civil engineering extensively throughout my education. I received a high score on my GRE exam in 2012, and I'm familiar with the exam structure and the efficient preparation strategies. My tutoring style is based on my extensive knowledge of the topics and my motivational skills. I believe motivating students is an important part of tutoring, as much as obtaining knowledge. My strategy is to have students excited about the topic, build students self confidence, and encourage them to be involved during the tutoring session. I always maintain a very good relationship with students and I make sure that I am very approachable. At the end, I consider the student's success as my own success and I'll work hard and stay consistent in order to achieve and/or exceed the anticipated results.
