I attended the Indian University of Technology in India, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with honors). I then went on to study at the Center for Environmental Planning and Technology University in India, where I obtained my master's in Urban and Regional Planning. My experience in tutoring, however, preceded even these educational experiences. During high school, which I attended at home in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, I helped my fellow students in math, and even helped the teacher with math lessons, at times. I think that's why I love teaching so much. I've worked on my techniques for teaching math, which begin with getting the student engaged with the concepts on a broad level, which leads to their ability to solve various problems. I have more than 40 years worth of experience tutoring students in Tanzania, in India, and in the United States. I am available to tutor in math subjects from elementary school math through advanced college classes like differential equations. I also tutor students in chemistry and physics at a high school level. I quickly discover where my student is at in their abilities, and then develop a plan to get them to where they need to be. This has been very successful for me and my students.
